GO Bus Route 40 – Hamilton/Richmond Hill

  • Service operates hourly on weekdays and weekends, and every 30 minutes during weekday rush hours
  • Travels between Hamilton GO Centre, Oakville Carpool Lot at Trafalgar/ Hwy 407, Square One, Pearson Airport and Richmond Hill Centre Terminal (Hwy. 7 & Yonge)
  • Trip between Hamilton and Pearson Airport takes approximately 1 hour

 

How do I get to Hamilton GO Centre?

You have a couple different options:

  • Walk or ride your bike
  • No GO Transit parking is available at this location
  • Take GO Transit Routes 16, 18 & 47, or take local transit (HSR)

 

Where do I put my luggage?

We will do our best to accommodate your luggage. Most GO Buses have under-floor luggage compartments available for your use.

How do I purchase a ticket or pass?

Single-ride tickets, day passes, group passes and PRESTO cards are available at Hamilton GO Centre.

The bus driver will inspect tickets and passes when you board and exit the bus. Each ticket or pass is valid between 2 specific points. Frequent riders can save by using their PRESTO card.

Oakville to Pearson Airport

How do I get to Square One GO Bus Terminal?

You have a couple different options:

  • Walk or ride your bike
  • Drive and park in the MTO leased lot located at Station Gate Road and Centre View Drive
  • Take GO Transit Routes 19, 21, 25, 29, 45, 46 & 47

  • Traveling between Finch GO Terminal, Yonge St @ Sheppard Ave., Yorkdale Bus Terminal and Pearson Airport
  • Trip between North York and Pearson Airport takes approximately 15-30mins

 

How do I get to Richmond Hill Centre Terminal?

You have a couple different options:

  • Walk or ride your bike
  • Finch GO Bus Terminal:
    • Take GO Bus Routes 19, 32, 67, 92 and 96, or local transit (TTC)
  • Yonge St. @ Sheppard Ave
    • Take local transit (TTC)
  • Yorkdale Bus Terminal
    • Take GO Bus Routes 19, 33, 35, 38, 60, 66 & 92, or local transit (TTC & YRT)
